How to apply
- Students from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, should use the Stony Brook add/drop form to apply for any elective.
- Students from U.S. LCME and COCA accredited medical schools should apply through VSAS.
- International students should follow the directions on http://www.winthrop.org/mse-international-students/
We endeavor to arrange rotations at least two months in advance. In applying for specific courses, please identify the exact dates of training which you desire. We maintain a policy of accepting only a limited number of students at any one time in order to maximize the educational opportunities. All rotations are subject to prior approval by the instructor.
Upon approval of your application you will receive written confirmation of the course and dates of assignment
All departments use a standard evaluation form to report your performance. Should your school require that its own form be used, you should ensure that it is forwarded to the Office of Academic Affairs prior to, or during, your rotation. You will also be asked to complete an evaluation of each course at the conclusion of the program.
Liability Insurance/ Health Insurance
