Biorepository and Specimen Acquisition System
A Biorepository will be established to collect, process, and distribute viable research specimens for future analysis. Samples of human DNA, RNA, serum, plasma, urine, tissue, and cells will be maintained in a suitable environment to support a wide variety of research projects. Many of the operations will be performed by robotic automation in order to avoid processing and handling errors. Access to specimen information pre- and post-analysis will be provided by a secure centralized network system with various levels of admission to assure complete participant confidentiality.
Specimen Acquisition System
